What we offer
Lessons are available to all levels of ability at any age.
Our program includes groundwork, riding, and learning of many essential stable management skills.
Lessons are 45mins of private 1 on 1 instruction, and include riding, groundwork, and stable management.
Trial lessons are 1 hr at the same rate. Students should expect to spend at least an hour and a half total at the barn.
A minimum commitment of 1 lesson/week is required. Lessons run in 3-month semesters.
The semesters are as follows:
January / February / March
April / May / June
July / August / September
October / November / December
Leasing is a great way to improve your horsemanship skills and build your relationship with your horse as well as being a good intermediary step between lessons and horse ownership.
Leases are available by request only, are subject to the availability of lesson horses, and leasers must be enrolled in our lesson program.
Private lessons (45mins) - $90
Semi-private lessons (60mins) - $90
1 day/week - $200 per month
2 days/week - $375 per month
3 days/week - $550 per month
There are several programs available in BC to help with the cost of participation in sports, for low income families.
We also offer a bursary to cover partial lesson costs, for low-income students who are unable to pay the full lesson fee.
Applications are always open; however, we can only accept a limited number of applicants per semester.

For trial lessons, payment is due by e-transfer at time of booking, and 24hrs is required for cancellations. Any lessons cancelled with less than 24hrs notice will forfeit the lesson fee.
Please send e-transfers to: email@example.com
Once you are enrolled in our program, lessons are booked in 3-month semesters.
Our program is tuition-based, meaning that rather than paying individually for each lesson, you will pay a flat monthly fee which includes your regular weekly lessons, as well as additional learning opportunities and resources.
Tuition remains the same whether there are 4 or 5 weeks in any given month.
Good horsemanship requires consistency and dedication. In the event that you are not able to attend one of your scheduled weekly lessons, we recommend taking advantage of some of the other resources included in your tuition, such as group classes or online resources. We are not able to offer refunds or makeup lessons for missed lessons.
Payment for each semester is due on the 15th of the month prior to the start of each semester. For example, payment for the Oct/Nov/Dec semester is due on September 15th. If you are unable to pay the full cost up front, we offer a post-dated cheque option as well.
Please contact us to discuss. Lesson fees are non-refundable.
Students wishing to enroll mid-semester are welcome to do so, and tuition will be prorated.
